My wife and I are a little older, so a trip to Plant City to see the Strawberry Festival in our leisure time means we want to spend the night in a nice place, get rested and then go home to Cocoa, Florida. For a couple years we stayed at other motels, but they were not that close to the festival.
I learned about Red Rose Inn from the Strawberry Festival web page. We went to your web site and were pleased with what we were looking at. On December 5, 2009 we called to inquire about your rates and to learn what services you offer. We spoke to Carla, who was not only informative, but she was a very nice lady. From her, we learned about your shuttle service and that the rooms displayed in your web site really accurate. We were pleasantly pleased to learn your rooms were reasonably priced and close to I-4.
On 03-08-10, we arrived and were treated well. We were asked what design we wanted, but not knowing any history we didn’t care and were given room #108, which was a pretty good one too.
I am old, round and tough to please when it comes to sleeping in a bed. I am happy to say I slept pretty well. I stayed for a concert, and when the shuttle was not where I was told, I called the front desk. The lady was very nice and it seemed she really tried to ensure I would get service. A few minutes later, the driver arrived at my location and away we went.
I gotta tell ya though, it would have been great if your bar was open longer. The bar closed at 10 PM., although we had to order dinner out, we do understand. It sure would have been great to have a nightcap or two before going to our room.
I have worked in Law Enforcement in Brevard County since 1986 and my wife has worked for county government since 1988, and we both tell you now, that we will most highly recommend that anyone needing to spend any time in a motel of any kind anywhere close to Tampa, that they do it at Red Rose Inn in Plant City, Florida.

Just a quick note to show our appreciation for the great service we received Thursday night at the Red Rose Inn. For many years now, we have come to Plant City for the Strawberry Festival and have stayed at the Red Rose Inn for the past 6 or 8 years.
We have been satisfied since the the beginning, but the level of service and the condition of the facilities have gotten better and better each year. As all way's Mark Johnson is as pleasant and accommodating as can be, as is all the staff. With the addition of your courtesy van's, this years visit was made even more relaxing.

I wanted to thank Red Rose Inn for bringing the Van Dells back to Florida!! The show was awesome and we loved the Red Rose Ballroom. That was the first time we had been there and was very impressed with everything! It was nice to see that there was such a nice turnout because they always put on such a great show!! We thoroughly enjoyed the star-studded entertainment Saturday night in the stunning white and pink palm tree ballroom and it was great to see the same theme carried over into the Gone With The Wind Lounge as well. Noelle and Sharon are to be commended! The NEW entree choices of Beef Wellington and Crab cake were a delicious surprise! We would LOVE to see the HIGH ENERGY COMETS again!!!

A person in the audience came in a 1948 Lincoln "Hot Rod". This was brought to the attention of the Comets. They played the old song: Hot Rod Lincoln" in the best rendition I have ever heard. !!!!

My wife and I attended Saturday Night's Dinner and Performance of Bill Haley's Comets. It was the first time attending your establishment. I must say my wife and I have not enjoyed ourselves more in a long time. We have mostly attended the Show Palace about 50 times in the last ten years in Hudson, Florida where we live and your place is twice as good as their place, in our opinion. They have a buffet but you have a superb waiting staff that makes it a dining pleasure rather than standing in a line like you are in the army. Your place also looks so classy with colored Ostrich feather plumes and beautiful chandeliers. Seating is cozy and not in long tables with stiff chairs. We will be back and we have already told a lot of our friends how much better your place is than the Show Palace. Thank you so much for a great Valentines experience.

I have been coming to the Red Rose Inn for several years. My husband and I have never had a bad meal or a bad time. Not only is the food excellent….your staff is phenomenal, each and every one, from the hostess to the waiters/waitresses, bus staff, bar staff, Mark, David. Everyone is so genuinely pleasant and helpful and truly the aim is to make everyone feel attended to and comfortable. Also, Destiny and Second Wind are great!

Thank you so much for this opportunity to receive some pictures of our "WONDERFUL" Christmas Day at the Red Rose! We plan on coming to the Sunday brunch and look forward to spending every holiday at the Red Rose in the future...can't say enough about our experiences. Here we are nearing another year gone, and I still love it so much when I come into the beautiful Red Rose. It's been over three year's ago I entered the Polo Club Lounge and set down and enjoyed a night of great entertainment and so much fun. Meeting many people and making some great friend's in these three years... I now am entertaining myself over in Lakeland. I'm called the RedHot Mamma... and soon will be teaming up with another sweet gal entertainer. We will be know as the Blues Sista's.... We sing the Blues...
My thanks go out to the Red Rose entertainer's. I have learned much from them and when I come into the Rose I make sure I go over and give the sweet beautiful lady of the Rose, Evelyn, a big hug....
Maybe one day, I hope to entertain at the Red Rose. Dreams can come true. My buddy, Ken Brady, has entertained at the Rose and he helps me out on one of my blue's songs that was written by a good friend of mine and that's where I was named the red hot mamma, by Jim Hendrick of WONN radio in Lakeland.... and I do believe my visits to the Rose opened a door for me to make a dream come true.

The Red Rose Inn and Suites is a fabulous place and we always try to attend one of their great shows when we travel from Baltimore to visit our son's family in Orlando, which is only one hour away.
The food and service are excellent, and the shows are top notch. Ms Madonia has a wonderful staff and they make us feel like family when we visit. We can't wait to return.
Lastly, if anyone has a chance to see a show featuring Lola & the Saints, take it from me, they are one of the best current doo-wop groups in the world. I've seen and heard them all, and Lola and the boys sound like they just came in from a time machine from the 50's-60's. Lola does a super job recreating some of the "kiddie-lead" groups like Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, as well as the girl group sounds like the Shirelles, etc. The guys get their turn to share leads on many doo-wop classics.

Congratulations to the Red Rose Inn on your Five Star award. On my stay at the Red Rose Inn Oct. 2 & 3rd it was exceptional. On my travels through the years to see Gene Ferrari perform at Hotels and night clubs, the Red Rose Inn has earned the Five Star for me. It is so nice to have employees that are pleasant and helpful and will go out of their way to do the best for your stay. Mark Johnson does just that, thanks Mark. The food is fantastic, thank you to the chef. I am returning for Gene Ferrari's performance in the ballroom on Nov. 28th. If you have not seen the show it is a must. He delivers a performance you will never forget. And I am looking forward to a wonderful weekend at the Red Rose Inn & Suites.

We thoroughly enjoyed our very first visit last night as we celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary.
There was not one thing that could have been better. Upon entering the hotel, the wonderful staff, our fabulous dinner and the splendid entertainment, especially that of Johnny Alston's Rock and Roll Motown Revue everything was A+. Johnny and the girls were so kind and pleasant. They even consented to taking pictures of us! We of course are originally from the Detroit area and really appreciated the sounds of Motown.
We now live full time in Bonita Springs and the 2+ hour trip will be made again to see the show. Our first experience was truly wonderful. Our accommodations overnight were equally great!

Kudos to Red Rose personnel! Our first time visit to Red Rose Inn on Friday, May 22nd, was such a joy!! And, we'll be back soon!! Kudos to your wonderful barkeeps for immediately making us feel at home...to the wait staff when we had that outstanding meal....my hubby, Jim Soleau, and I felt so pampered!!! From the salads, to the dinner, and the wonderful merlot suggested by your Maitre 'd....made for an unforgettable dining experience. A table by the dance floor gave us a great view of your entertainers.
We couldn't drag out dinner any longer....so we went to our room, refreshed ourselves and returned to the bar area for another glass of that delectable merlot, and enjoyed the entertainment.
And.......our breakfast was delicious from start to finish....the ladies who greeted us made us feel so special...enjoyed exchanging history of the Red Rose Inn. Loved the "spit and polish" look of the tile, the brass, the beautiful wooden bar.. Long time since I had the pleasure of looking at that beautiful wood. Thanks to Audra at the bar for making us feel home!!

It was 3/27/09 at 8:30pm, and the Rib Eye steak with side of mushrooms was delicious!! The Manhattan was one of the best I have ever drank, and the band “Destiny” was great. The red roses were a very nice touch. We stayed here last year while in Florida, but had trouble finding you – please add the Red Rose to the GPS list of local hotels!

As Jehovah’s Witnesses, we travel here for conventions and assemblies three times a year. We have made the Red Rose our hotel of choice for all of our future stays. We had our first visit to the Red Rose Inn & Suites to attend the Dreamgirls and Motown Revue and when we got back home, I Googled elegance and class and it was defined as the Red Rose Inn. I then Googled charm and grace and there I found it defined as Hillary. You are no longer the best kept secret in this area, the secret is out of the bag and we will be seeing you again very soon.

We have not been this pleased by a facility for years!!! Every person who works here deserves a big thank you for making everyone's time here so special.. The rooms are great, well priced and offer all you need. The lobby and staff are superb!! Mark at the desk... completely dedicated to make sure your stay is fantastic.
Audra, who turned out not to be just our waitress in the fantastic Red Rose Dining Room lounge (which is really a great Supper Club!), actually acted as our hostess for the evening. From making sure we had a great table, explaining the evening events and likely procedures, and really went out of her way to ensure that our first ever time at The Red Rose Inn would be one with great and fond memories!!!!!
We are just overwhelmed with the completely friendly staff.... even the house band, if you have any request, they will sing it as if they recorded it themselves!!

It is with great pleasure I write this to let you know my husband, James, and I, felt amongst family during our recent stay in your hotel. We were there for the Blue Knight's Conference, and stayed at the Red Rose Inn from April 28th to May 4th.

James and I travel extensively and I can tell you that we have never felt as welcomed as at your hotel. You must be proud of your staff. They not only make your hotel a clean and comfortable place to stay, but they go out of their way to make it easy for people to want to come back.

Two of those special people who work for you are Ms. Barbara Crews and Ms. Mary Louise Cravey. They did a wonderful job of maintaining the breakfast area, and the food was delicious! Ms. Crews was so sweet and attentive, we will never forget her. Both Ms. Crews and Ms. Cravey went out of their way to show true southern hospitality when they came to the hospital to see me. They didn't have to do that, but they did, and I'm so appreciative of it! They didn't even know me, which speaks loud and clear about their wonderful caring hearts. I was in the hotel only a few hours when I developed chest pains. Our thanks go also to the front desk staff and your security officer who quickly got an ambulance to our room.

I should have sent this card sooner, but we traveled most of the month of May. Please accept my humble Thank You for our wonderful stay at your hotel. Please pass on our appreciation to all, but especially to Ms. Crews and Ms. Cravey. I also hope you reward them because they really deserve it!

The Mt. Gilead/Morrow County Reunion was a roaring success thanks to the The Red Rose Inn and Suites. Kerry and his staff did a beautiful job of making everyone feel welcome and at home. The service could not have been better. The meal prepared by the chef and his staff received many compliments and I even heard several say it was better than last year.
This was the largest group we have ever had and many more than we anticipated. There were many compliments for having the lunch in the beautiful dinning room. I think the decor set the stage for people feeling at home with old friends, neighbors and relatives. Some had not seen each other for years and others found they were living in or near friends here in Florida and didn’t even know it.
From the compliments received I anticipate many will return and maybe even more will be added. It was our pleasure to work with you and look forward to next year.

We drove over to the Red Rose Inn from our home in Pinellas Park (about 45 miles west) and spend Friday night, What a pleasurable stay. Everyone, from Caroline at the front desk when we first checked in, to our waiter at dinner, to Mark at the front
desk when we checked out, and Victoria at the complimentary buffet breakfast, they were all so nice.
The dinner was outstanding. I had steak, my wife had the chicken Alfredo. Our compliments to the chef. And the music and dancing were suburb also.
My wife and I have already decided to come back in January, when it's time to celebrate our next wedding anniversary - our 39th.

Last night, June 22, 2007, we had another great experience at the Red Rose Dining Room. From the moment we walked up to the Dining Room, until we left after the show ended, we were impressed. The service and food were incredible. Of course, the Legends of Doo Wop, completed our memorable evening. We are so happy to see Tommy back "in his groove". Once again, it was well worth the long trip from Clearwater Beach to fulfill our DOO WOP thirst. Hopefully, the Legends will be scheduled again at your place so we can make another trip. I am sitting here at my computer in my office (and in awe) after just returning
from one of the most fabulous “evenings-out” that my wife and I have ever
experienced in our married life.
First, your staff … from the greeters/hostesses, to everyone who had anything to
do with personally attending to our needs…was outstanding. As for Lee-Lee, she
could not have been more professional, sweeter, personable or accommodating.
From the many lunch-breaks I had there two years ago, I remember when she
first came ‘on-board’. She certainly seems to have blossomed into a confident and
competent young waitress. I’m sure the caliber of her performance is both a direct
compliment to your internal training expectations, as well as to her perseverance.
Our meals… were absolutely exquisite. But, then, after having been there about a
dozen times in the past couple of years, we’ve come to expect nothing less. Your chef
never fails to transform our bragging (to friends) into pure, mouth-watering fact !
The entertainment…Dennis’ Destiny, of course, chose the perfect dinner-time
selections. And even without the third Musketeer, Ralphie-Baby, the Rat Pack
still manages to captivate (and involve) the audience with their nostalgic songs and,
the always entertaining, humor, antics, impersonations and anecdotes.
For as long as successful reputations can be built and sustained by ‘word-of-mouth’,
rest assured I will gratefully continue to play my small role to that endeavor. I am
sure you’ve heard it many times before, that a simple “Thanks” often falls terribly
short of paralleling a particular gift, gesture, deed or favor. That notwithstanding,
I hope you and your husband will accept our sincere and heartfelt “Thank You” for

Greetings!
Last Friday evening 10 of the Quinn family met for dinner at The Red Rose Dining Room. Two came from Illinois; two from Philly; two from Alabama; and four from Lakeland (formally from California and Connecticut). Beside being a great get-together with family, the evening was the most outstanding dining experience we have enjoyed. Some of us have dined at places like Scandia's in Beverly Hills, as well as La Scoffia at The Beverly Hills Hotel; Sorentino's in Burbank; and other "big hitter's" around the country. This is not a boast for us, it is a tribute to you.
It started with John, our server, who answered all of our questions as if he prepared each meal himself. His service during the evening was beyond excellent (only because "excellent" does not seem to be high enough of a rating). Every meal I'm told (I only tried three) was exquisite, both in taste and appearance, and again, John was there with to-go containers. Should we talk about the entertainment? Wow! We have a couple of "over the hill" entertainers in our group, and they were at a loss for words to describe the amount of talent that came from the three artists known as "Destiny." Bravo! and Brava!

We had the best time Saturday 5/17. We drove from Dunedin and I have to say it was well worth it. The music, show, dinner and the service were all excellent. Next time we plan to stay the weekend. We come to the Red Rose for dinner and entertainment often. We receive great food and service. We enjoy the entertainment by the Rat Pack Too and Destiny. We look forward to this almost every weekend. We have been to both Rat Pack Too and their Orchestra concerts and they were most enjoyable.

Just wanted to tell EVERYONE how absolutely FANTASTIC LADIES NIGHT was tonight at the POLO CLUB LOUNGE located in the RED ROSE DINING ROOM of the Red Rose Inn and Suites in PLANT CITY!
There were a lot of SINGLE GUYS there, as well as some incredibly GORGEOUS AND CLASSY SINGLE CHICKS!
"DESTINY" WAS AT THEIR INCREDIBLE BEST, AND RALPH ALLOCCO of "RAT PACK TOO" FAME, IS A FABULOUS ADDITION TO "DESTINY"...EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT!

Hello: My party of four enjoyed a great evening at the Red Rose Dining Room on March 25. Our birthday girl was much impressed! Between Destiny, The Rat Pack Too, excellent service and a superb meal we were more than satisfied.
I have had some very nice visits to the Red Rose Inn and Suites. The music, shows and dancing are wonderful.
We had a great time. We will come back again. It was a fun evening. Thanks.
Hi, We enjoyed your Seafood and Prime Rib Buffet last evening. Each item was very enjoyable. On the desert bar was a white cake with apricot filling. We asked one of the waiters what kind of cake it was, as it was positively wonderful. They replied it was a combination of angel food and pound cake with apricot filling. Is it possible to get that recipe from you? If so, I would appreciate having the recipe to see if I can duplicate the light texture of this cake. We are looking forward to returning and enjoying your buffet again.
We would like to know when you are going to have Sammy Kershaw back. We have been married 25 years this year and thought for sure we would see him there... We love your place and food we love seeing Sammy there. We need Sammy.
I went with my husband to your restaurant a couple of weeks ago and tasted a delicious Osso Buco, but it was one of the specials that night, not on the regular menu. Do you have certain nights that you serve this? I would like to go again on a night I can eat this exquisite meal.

We received many complements from the attendees which I hope you will pass along to your staff. The chef is to be commended for his preparation of an excellent menu and I thank you for assisting us with the selection.

I am emailing you to see if you still have pictures from last New Year’s? I just realized that our picture is in there #18 and if you still have it what can we do to get a copy? We are also coming again this year and really looking forward to the evening, we enjoyed last year so much. We do come to the lounge at least once a month and just love it.
My husband and I spent New Years Eve this year and attended the party in the ballroom. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!! The music was wonderful and the food was great. We definitely intend to do this next year. A Big Thank You from the Warners.
