THE CONTOURS featuring Sylvester Potts have entertained tens of millions of fans and have sold millions of records along the way. They are ranked as one of the top 500 R&B artists of all time according to "Top R&B Singles 1952-1995" compiled from Billboard Magazine's charts. In the 1960's, the group charted eight hits, including Motown's first million-seller and its fastest-rising hit of all time, "Do You Love Me." In 1988, after the release of the movie, "Dirty Dancing", starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, "Do You Love Me," which was a featured song in the movie roared back on the charts, outselling its original performance many times over. The Van-Dells are "The Nation's #1 Rock & Roll Review." They have been entertaining audiences of all ages with their unique blend of comedy, costume changes, choreography and tight harmonies for over 3 decades.  The Van-Dells have been called "The Three Stooges set to music."
The Van-Dells begin their show representing the last graduating class of Van-Dell High School, which closed down in 1958. Dressed in letter sweaters, The Van-Dells combine comedy with songs from the Rock and Roll era of the 50's. In the second show they take the audience on a nostalgic trip through the "Glitter and Gold" period that made the 60's famous. The Las Vegas Sounds will perform before and after the show!
