I'm almost certain there isn't a woman alive on this planet, who
doesn't suffer from stress! If you take a good look at women in high
positions - that seem to exhibit very little stress, you will find
common tricks of the trade in their life.
So far, the following suggestions are those that have helped me. I hope you will take the time to try one, or better yet, create your own. ![]() Carve out two hours a day for solitude. One hour for meditation and the other for yourself. (I enjoy hot bubble baths with the aromatic scents of Rose-Melon candles flickering on my bathtub's edge.) Begin and end the day with meditation. (Don't forget to put on your daily armor!) Don't overbook, overscheduled or you will soon be overwhelmed. Always carry something interesting to read. Drink pure spring water. Lots of it! "BE " instead of "DO. " Don't give yourself unrealistic deadlines. Keep things simple. Laugh. A lot! Don't answer the phone during meals. Stop trying to please everyone. Take time to savor the beauty surrounding you. It could be a Ladybug, Flower or watching a school of fish swimming in your tank. Care for your soul. If you don't take care of you…. no one else will! Cherish your dreams. If you can dream it, it can happen! Express love every day. Search for the real person, deep within and nurture them. Get a short, trendy haircut. Grow your hair long. If you're feeling like dust on an empty shelf, just remember, you can love yourself! In this world without quiet corners to find respite, you'll find, there won't be any easy escapes…from hullabaloo, from terrible, unquiet fuss. From the Heart Evelyn |
